I came in many times and tried to talk about what I was looking for.

I did and look where am I! I am more frustrated and stressed about going on dates from this company and I sent them a detailed e-mail about my frustrations and how my experience has done more harm than good. They proceeded to ignore me, the client liaison is away, and the owner has not called me when they said they would. I am done with the company and thought that others should know how bad my experience was so that no one has the same frustration and stress that I went through.
I am still looking for love, but this company will not be the one. I must admit, I was skeptical of this process at first but decided to go in for an interview and see what the company is all about. Those guys seemed to be looking for a good time. The men I met through Matchmakers were polished, successful, mature, and genuine. Some of the men I still keep in contact with and have gone out with since our dates, and one of them I actually set up with a girlfriend of mine; they are now dating. After my dates I would call and talk to the client liaison and provide her with my feedback. This was beneficial for me because I thought I knew exactly what I wanted in the beginning of this process, but it turns out I was attracted to other qualities I did not consider. Was going to be a tad busy for a while Told that was okay as things change during the dating process. On my behalf, I didn't call back to re-establish the connection within the year. Maybe not ready yet? But then did email later and asked for a call back. Never heard from Sophia Young. Forwarded email to owner, Eileen, to let her know I did not receive a call back from Sophia as a followup.
So they have every cent.

And I have nothing After reading Mary C's account and one star rating which I see has been removed after a few days after I wrote mine, because like with me, the owner said she would work something out with Mary , I see that this company is still making promises that they can't deliver and I am sorry that they are still continuing to mislead people.
Like Mary C's review before mine, I also had a very unsatisfactory experience with Matchmakers of Chicago. They used to be called Elan and Sterling Register. The men they set me up with initially were nothing like what I had said that I wanted, This company has changed their name many times because of all of the complaints that they get. What I realized was that they didn't really have the pool of men that they said they had for me. I flipped my lid after they set me up with my 3rd date which was last the last of 3 promised with a man who was grossly overweight, when I specifically stated - "No over weight men.
The owner realized that this was hurting her business, so she said that she would "work with me" until I was satisfied. I have to say that the quality of those dates were a little closer to what I had said that I was looking for, but the last one was way off. To tell you the truth I could have done better myself on a free online dating site, than what they did for me. On their second try even when the men were closer to what I had asked two of them fit more or less my criteria, but one said that he was not ready to date, and just before my date with the second guy I received devastating news so the date went very poorly - not their fault , however I was very disappointed by my last match, and the owner indicated that that would be their final match for me.
In the end, spending that money was a waste. I hope that they will eventually deliver on their promise to Mary and others.
