Every year more and more developers are releasing different kinds of dating applications, in order to cater the needs of masses. This application became a rage in Australia and more than users registered on this app within the first week of its release. Such a shame that the guys who should be reading this blog - i. P Btw, how many lawyers, excluding myself are blogging this? Last count seems to be 5: Are you inferring I'm dull for marrying a guy for something other than his money?
Perhaps he is smart for marrying me for mine Also, this is about the third time you've said that females don't grow a brain until they're about As a general rule, that may be so, but the same is true in relation to men. When I was 18, I'd already figured that there wasn't a man alive under the age of 25 worth wasting my time on. My mother maried my father for the practical benefits - and she actively acknowledges it. This in a time when the economic benefits weren't the least tangible.
If you're the pretentious, superficial type Your end remark is everything. Perhaps we can just refine and fine tune what we have and work on that which we don't have. I think perhaps it comes down to compatibility. Are you guys heading in a similar direction?
Do you have similar goals obviously they don't have to be the same career or professional goals? Do you get on well? One of my exes and I were quite compatible with our goals.
We ended up going in different directions. My current tradie relationship is good. While I can't really fault foreign guys, it's nice not to have to strain my ear to understand what Tradie is saying. He is much older than the ex - 13 years older than me - yet has ten times the stamina.
He is still fit and well dressed with no beer belly slung over the waist of his jeans. He can talk about a variety of issues and uses words even I don't understand even though I'm in the final year of my degree and a pen pusher at a desk job actually a keyboard tapper. We are compatible in that we are going in a similar direction - neither of us is really looking to settle down at this stage but we both enjoy the same things and we're just having a lot of fun. Tom - I did not say that trades people do not work long hours or do not work hard. My partner has always been a labourer and so has my Dad and brothers.
They make good use of the early morning and day but are home for dinner and 'time' with me. I don't imagine them having time for internet chat in the middle of the day though I'd like to point out there are plenty of professional guys out there who devote a bit of time to the gym and therefore ALSO have good bodies! Ok yes, and the flipside of that is that while he's at the gym working out it would be time spent with you if he was able to work out while he worked SusieQ - thats not true!
Its more for men. But Pormeister is right. Its almost painful having a conversation with an under 25 female. I'd imagine its exactly the same for women conversing with under 25s men. You can't really infiltrate their little selfabsorbed world, you can only hope to orbit from time to time. Tradie4us - maybe its cause us lawyers are multi-task talented, rather than sitting around playing with our tools! Prostitutes make their living by the sweat of their brow too love, dosen't make it a noble calling. Besides, next month it will be how women prefer dating sporting stars for exactly the same reasons.
Tradies get leathery skin, professionals get RSI and bad posture. Happens with all jobs. Plus, tradies are still fitter than gym boiz who just have nice bodies. But I do understand that not everyone can be a tradie. I can't catch, let alone hold a jackhammer or balance on a roof, so that lifestyle is not for me. One of the biggest turn ons for me is just seeing someone do their job or something they enjoy WELL. Seeing your uni student boyfriend get a High Distinction in his class. Watching your footy-loving boyfriend score a try.
Watching your tradie boyfriend fix a vehicle. Hearing about your lawyer boyfriend winning his case. Tom - Having a go at someone's intelligence level when you don't know them is, in it's self, quite ignorant. There's no need to be defensive. Not ALL tradies are sent inside when it rains because not all tradies work purely outside.
I don't believe you were specific with your profession so don't take comments so personally.
Thank you for getting in touch!
I suspect, without having any specific knowledge on this other than observation since I'm a bloke , that at least some of the motivation or atrraction is practical, and some is a bit like natural selection. Is it wrong to suggest that on average, most tradies are fitter and stronger than their white-collar equivalents? There's the natural selection bit - the Apex males are the most instantly attractive, thus survival of the fittest etc. A less attractive desk-driver only establishes his value over time, through conversation etc.
By then the horse may well have bolted. And most tradie workplaces are almost completely male, so there's little or no competition while he's at work.

Secondly, most tradies work shifts, generally an early start to the day and an early finish, with most home by 2. What woman wouldn't appreciate that? And yes, I'm sure the current ability of tradies to earn money at least comparable to, if not superior to most office types must also be attractive. And in most cases, few if any "late nights at the office". But as with most things, it's the meeting of minds and sensitivity to each other's needs that ensure a good, long-term relationship, and neither tradies nor office workers have a mortgage on those qualities.
Why not date a tradie when you need your kitchen re-done, then switch to an accountant at tax time??? The biggest turn on for me is seeing someone do something they love and do it WELL. BUT i felt compelled to comment and give kudos to the crew who are making this forum fantastic reading Miss M, tappingatradie, TOM, koko, lbiz and L i'm looking at you - discussion, debate and interraction is what Ck's all about and i'm glad everyone's adding their opinions-. Thank you Cat, for posting intelligent and well thought out articles that compell us to respond, think and consider our own opinions and those of others.
P What are some other tradie things i can comment about????!?!? Why are all rainy days at work days when nothing is happening? It's just a good lifestyle. Often with tradies they're not stupid though they can be.
No luck on dating sites. Tradie dating website. Dating websites active singles.
Most tradies I know finished year 12, often with an under 10 or even under 5 OP, and are well versed on many issues. My father and Mr Tradie this new name will do are both smart - my father is one of the smartest people I've met - yet it comes down to the fact that they like working with their hands and they like working outside. Another case in point - Noah v Lon in The Notebook! Do you want to marry rich and busy granted, Lon did let Allie go into the office to talk to him once or tradie who can build you an awesome house?

Yes I did just watch this again last night. BUT at the end of the day yes the work day is nearly over! I personally think the survey is a bit silly - were the respondents asked to just name professions they thought were dateable, or to choose them from a list? The ones picked are the ones that first come to mind. You don't see "Concreter" Mr Tradie's job or "policy officer" or "croupier" in that list. Croupier is sort of hot.. Brian, are you suggesting that if you went to a GPS school, you're automatically not a bogan? The one I went to had plenty of students displaying attributes traditionally associated with bogans - small-mindedness, bigotry, anti-intellectualism, a propensity for violence.
In fact, a lot of them were prefects. I think this survey shows an over-reaction from women - A buzz on something new they have discovered.
A Dating App For Tradies Just Launched In Australia | InStyle Australia
Lets face it, until tradies started earning good money women stayed clear of them. Now some influential women have given it a shot and found, wow, that tradies may indeed be suitable for dating. So the rest are catching on. But again, its a flavour of the month thing with women. As for the women here dating tradies none have experienced the ups and downs of the building industry yet since it has being going up since end of the 90s.
Wait till it turns around again, and then we will see once again just how difficult and cut-throat it is. Where cheap out rates quality all the time, and everyone is left wondering when the next job will be. And tappingatradies' Mr tradie suddenly finds that the big companies aren't so keen to spread the work around and tolerate competition from the small businesses like his. But by all means women date a tradie, there are a lot more doing the job these days by choice rather than having no other option, so you'll be surprised at the varied personalty types. All i want to say is, of course women like a tradie, cause like men, women do have natural urges, that come down to physical attraction, and fantasy's.
Lets be honest when it comes down to the fling side of things neither sex cares about intellect it's purely based on attraction, and this is why females like a tradie. Their fit, muscular, and tanned, which is what both sexes ideally want.
Maybe replace muscular with toned for blokes though lol.
