Single Beam HID Kit Package Contents

If you install your kit with a Power Relay Harness, you will only be using one inch adapter wire and it will go between the Power Relay Harness Connector and the Vehicle's Factory Connector. On Step 3 above, instead of connecting the Ballast to the inch adapter wires, you will connect the ballasts directly to the Power Relay Harness male connectors with the yellow rubber seal. This is what the finished product will look like once all connections are done. Repeat the steps for the second headlight.

Note that when installing an HID Kits with a power relay harness, you will only have a single connection going to your factory connector. The opposite side will remain unplugged which is normal.

You may want to weatherproof the empty connector to avoid moisture from damaging it. Connect the oval 2-prong plug from the ballast to the Bi-Xenon Relay Harness. Connect the Negative - Terminal to a proper ground. This can connect to your battery or anywhere on your vehicle frame.

Repeat for the other side of the relay. Make sure your vehicle is turned off when doing this. The last connection will plug directly to your vehicle.

Only one side of your vehicle will need to connect to the Bi-Xenon Relay Harness. Note that when installing your Bi-Xenon Relay Harness, you will only have a single connection going to your factory connector.

These are mostly supplied with the kit along with the instructions. Check the parts in HID kit. It should contain two ballasts, two relays, two HID Bi-Xenon headlight bulbs, wiring harnesses and the connecting wires. Remove the old bulbs.

Install HID bulbs in headlight holders. Lock them in position. Never touch the HID bulbs with bare fingers. In case you have removed any rubber or plastic cover, insert the wires through the cover and fix the cover back. Locate all the wires on the bulb base. The Bi-xenon HID bulbs have three wires projecting out from the back.

Two of them are round connections while the third one is oval in shape. Connect male and female for both positive as well as negative wires coming out from the back of bulb to the ballast. Mount the ballasts and HID kit securely using the two-sided tape or ballast mounting brackets keeping it closest to headlight but away from any source of heat in the engine compartment.
