People in their 20s are still trying to figure out who they are. Its good that you two have a lot in common but just keep her as a friend. I think it can work. I "dated" a gal who was 17 years younger than me for awhile. The age difference worried me but not her. We went different directions for another reason and she ended up with another guy about my age.
