Each campground is fairly large and both have easy access to a fantastic sandy beach. Doheny has over camp spots on the beach right in Dana Point. The beach here is quite popular. Would give it 6 stars if I could. This park truly lives up to being called a resort; with a pool and hot tub, hot showers, mini mart, and laundry facilities. Boulder Creek RV Resort is a favorite of families all over. The staff is friendly, the place is extra clean, try a special event, they know how to throw a party! Camp mini mart was very well stocked for last minute purchases.
Free coffee and muffins in the morning were a nice extra.
