What is the maximum current draw for the 12v source? Does the radio trigger wire have to be hooked up? The amplifier will only power on when the remote wire receives a 12 volt signal.

Most stereo head units have a remote wire that provides a 12 volt signal when the head unit is powered on thereby triggering and turning the amp on.
