Once I found out that my sup was stabbing me in the back and talking about me negatively with one of my colleagues, I knew that my time was going to be limited at FCR. She told me that she would be the most unprofessional boss that I would ever have and she was right! I've never worked in a place where the administration sent out emails reminding people to bathe and flush the toilets. A LOT of dirty people with no class.

My supervisors set realistic goals for me and always encouraged me to move up in the company. If you go to work for this company, make no mistake you are merely a number to them, and they couldn't care less about you as an individual. They advertise themselves as being different from all other call centers, but that is a lie. You will be confronted with the same corporate attitude driven by profits as with any other call center you work for. They say they promote from within, but that too is a lie as most of the managers are hired from the outside and very few of the people I worked with were promoted.
Many that were promoted were eventually demoted. The HR department responds painfully slowly if at all whenever you have a pressing need or family emergency. If you have a disability and need an accommodation, good luck with that.

The stress associated with this job is not worth the pay, and you will receive very little support from management, if any. People you work with in close quarters can be miserable to be around due to the poor working conditions. Ventilation is poor, germs spread like wildfire, the surroundings are noisy, the headsets hurt your ears, the computers and phone system are often unreliable, and you're treated like children by management. You're expected to perform at a certain level, and they make it almost impossible to meet those goals. FCR tries really hard to be a great place to work but falls short.
I worked at FCR for a very long time, starting when it was a small company with a tight-knit workforce in one location. In my experience, the opportunities for promotion and substantial pay raises just aren't there.

I also found that members of leadership sometimes failed to adhere to the company's core values. You will do well and go far in this job if you are very tech savvy and have the gift of gab. Otherwise, it is very much a "sink or swim" work environment.

The team leaders tell you they will gladly answer any questions you may have and are there to help you succeed, but there were many instances when my questions were met with rolling eyes and body language as if to say, "what is it now? You should know all of this stuff by now I had a lot of fun learning and working at the same time. There was a lot of room to grow, as we were able to know workers in other departments, doing more technical things than I did.
This had a huge impact on my decision to further my education. I always looked up to the IT department there. Good place to work, Horrible management. Saw private documents that had alarming information about payroll and when I went to HR to shed light on issue was essentially given run around. Decided I would not be willing to work at a company with such lack of integrity.

Work itself was fine, generally employees are good workers and friendly. Management is disconnected from day to day aspects of call center and there is a huge gap between middle management pay and executive pay. Zero opportunity to advance within a given department, and horrible on the job training made the decision to leave easy. This place drove me into the ground. They will work you as much as they can even with medical conditions.
