The cat-calling, for me at least, seems to have trained me to not trust even the most genuine extensions for friendship in public. I'm not bashing those who use them, but those sites and apps are not for everyone. Have you tried dating apps or anything like that? Or are you just not interested in dating at all. I tried PoF and it never went well once I told the person I dance and do pole fitness as a hobby. It got to the point where I would lie and would say I waitress. But a relationship starting from a lie never leads to good places. I've only used Tinder, but I've heard PoF is pretty much bottom of the barrel. I do agree that being upfront about dancing is probably the best idea.
