Technical Details
Place the upper sleeve over the raised rear hatch door. Simply buckle the upper sleeve's 2 top straps around the roof rack's rear cross bar. If the vehicle is without a cross bar, clip the extension strap's J-hooks to the vehicle's windshield wipers. Lower the rear hatch door just enough to buckle the lower sleeve's black strap over it.
Attach the lower sleeve's orange straps to the inside of the vehicle's cargo area. Attach the A and B straps to the vehicle's wheel well and tighten. Run the C strap under the vehicle's wheel well and clip it to the D strap and tighten.

The instruction are pretty good but make sure you practice putting it on before you use it camping. Make sure the ground is reasonably flat.

After you lift it stake the corners temporarily while you line up the vehicle with the opening. That way you can adjust the position of the tent behind the hatch. It has to be lined up so it will snug up when you attach it to the vehicle. My Expedition has the roof rack and found that using the included extention straps and attaching to the most forward area on the rack works great.
Zip up window covers are a plus. Other tents I researched just have the mesh windows and utilize the rain fly for privacy. Can be attached by one person but it's hard to do. Also, throw the stakes out that they furnish and get a set of heavy duty ones. I've used this tent twice on one week camping trips. I have a Subaru Forester and it fits perfectly. The tent is roomy and I'm 6'2" tall so the height should be good for almost anyone. There are two major flaws in this tent however that should be addressed at some point for this to be a 5 star product.
The zipper for the front window catches every time you try to zip or unzip the tent. It is very annoying! The mesh that holds the poles catches the pole connectors making this a very difficult tent to put up and take down. Aside from that I'd say it is a good quality tent.
